Our story

Why we call it SecondPassport

I finished my BSc at North South University in 2016. A year later I moved to Dublin for a Master's at Trinity College Dublin. That degree changed what I could do with my life. It worked like a second passport.

Most of the process was guesswork: which university, how much money to show, what the visa officer wanted to see. SecondPassport is the help I wish I had: someone who looks at your real profile and tells you where you can actually get in.

We start with the UK and Ireland, where I know the system first hand, and we are adding more countries.

What students ask us most

How much does the shortlist cost?

৳900, paid once at the end of the check by bKash, Nagad, Rocket or card. It is not refundable, because it pays for the work of picking universities for you by hand.

What exactly do I get?

A list of universities picked for your grades, English, budget and priorities, each marked as a reach, a good match or a safe option, with a note on why it fits you. It comes by email within 7 business days of uploading your documents, as a PDF you keep, and it stays in your dashboard.

Which countries can I apply to?

Right now the UK and Ireland. We are adding more countries. If you want to study somewhere else, tell us in the check so we know where to go next.

I have not taken IELTS yet. Can I still get a shortlist?

Yes. Tell us when you plan to take it, and we shortlist for the score you are aiming for. Most Master's courses ask for IELTS 6.5 overall with no band under 6.0. Some accept 6.0.

My CGPA is low. Is it worth trying?

Most Master's courses ask for at least 2.5 out of 4, and more selective ones want 3.0 or higher. Below that there are still routes, and work experience helps. Your shortlist will be honest about where you can get in.

I have a gap after my Bachelor's. Is that a problem?

Not on its own. Work experience explains a gap well. Tell us about it in the check and we take it into account.

I had a visa refusal before. Can I still apply?

Yes. Mention it in the notes at the end of the check. Visa officers can see your history anyway, so we plan around it.

Do you help with Bachelor's or PhD?

Not yet. Right now SecondPassport is for Master's degrees.
