I realized something earlier this year (2019).
I don’t have any website in my portfolio.
If you have been following my website and the blog posts, you know that I build and sell sites quite regularly. Since I became busier and busier with other projects, SEO stuff, consultancy and clients – I got less and less time to build my own sites.
I used to have a portfolio of sites back in the days. However, the last one that I had was sold only for $2000 (details here).
Hi, I'm Khalid...
I travel the world and try to live a digital nomad life. Want premium goodies from me? For free?
That site practically ended my passive income lifestyle. Yes, I still had bits and pieces coming to me from different affiliate links, ads etc. but it wasn’t even $1000/month.
So I finally decided to rebuild my portfolio of websites in 2020.
What’s the goal?
The goal is to create 20 websites that can generate $20,000/month by the end of 2020.
Ambitious? A little, but I have done similar stuff before – so I know how to go about it.
My initial plan was to develop 60 websites to do $20k/month, however, 60 seemed like a LOT, hence, the change in plan.
It is December, 2019 now and I am finally ready to begin the journey.
Best part? I will be documenting one website of the 20 – for this case study. Though I will document one site, I will be doing the same things on the other 19 too so you can expect similar process + results throughout.
There’s no point showing you 20 Analytics, income & search console screenshots every month when I am doing the same stuff – on all of them.
We will have three section on every case study update (I will do one/month). Data (where I will show you the Analytics, Search Console + other data points), Expenses (where I will tell you how I spent money for that site on that month), Income (self-explaining).
The goal is to keep things simple. I will link to all monthly updates here, feel free to Bookmark the page and get back to it. Alternatively, Subscribe here and I will email you as soon as the new update is live.
